Chicago- The Windy City is probably the most well known city in the Midwest and for good reason. With great restaurants, museums, a view of beautiful Lake Michigan and a million events going on every weekend it is no wonder that many people love to spend long weekends away from home in Chicago, Illinois.
- What to do: If the weather is nice, sit by the lake and watch the boats disappear over the horizon. Unleash your inner child and ride the ferris wheel for amazing views of the city at the Navy Pier. Conquer your fear of heights for a sunset that you won't ever forget at the Hancock Observatory. Unwind with some retail therapy on the Magnificent Mile. Make your trip educational with a visit to one of the many museums at the Museum Campus.

Detroit- The motor city has not always had the best reputation but locals and travelers alike, agree that it is back on the rise. Home of the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Lions there are always filled up stadiums with everyone coming out to support their favorite team. Close to the arenas is our favorite neighborhood to stop and grab something to eat before concerts or games, Greek Town. The streets are lined with restaurants and bakeries serving up a wide variety of foods.
- What to do: Catch a Red Wings game at the famous Joe Louis Arena. Pick a side to vote on which coney island has the best coney dog. Head out of the city and visit the University of Michigan campus and surrounding Ann Arbor. Enjoy a show at one of the many historic theaters. Relax with a stroll through the world famous Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA).
